Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003, as amended (the “Privacy Code”) and to European Regulation No. 679 of 2016 (the “Privacy Regulation”), 4Green intends to inform You and all users and/or visitors of the website https://www.4green.it/ (hereinafter the “Users” and the “Site”, respectively) regarding the processing of personal data collected through the Site.

1. Data Controller, Data Processors and Data Protection Officer

The Data Controller of personal data is 4Green, e-mail info@4green.it (hereinafter the “Controller”).

The updated list of designated Data Processors can be provided upon request by the interested parties and/or Users.

In the event a Data Protection Officer is appointed, the identifying data of the same will be made available through publication, supplementing this Privacy Notice.

2. Information automatically collected by the Site

Like all websites, our Site uses log files, which store information collected automatically during Your visits. The IT systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of the Site automatically acquire certain information during use, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

The information collected includes:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address or the domain name of the device You use;

Such information is processed in an automated manner and collected exclusively in aggregate form to verify the correct functioning of the Site.

3. Personal data provided by You through the Site: purposes of processing

Your data is necessary to allow You to:

  • Access the Site and browse its contents;

  • Register and access the services offered therein (e.g., contacts, newsletter, careers, etc.) as requested by You.

Your data are processed for the following purposes:
(i) Compliance with legal obligations;
(ii) Technical management of the Site;
(iii) Use of the “Contacts” service, which allows You to contact the Controller, as detailed in the specific privacy notice available at the link.

The data provided by You will be processed primarily using IT tools under the authority of the Controller, by specifically designated, authorized, and trained persons in accordance with Articles 29 of the Privacy Regulation and 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code. Appropriate security measures are applied, also pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation, to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access.

4. Nature of data provision and legal basis for processing

With regard to the purposes referred to in Article 3, point (iii), reference is made to the specific notice mentioned in this Privacy Notice. For the purposes referred to in points (i) and (ii) of Article 3 above, the provision of Your personal data is necessary as, without it, You would not be able to use the services offered by the Site. Accordingly, for the purpose referred to in point (i), the legal basis for processing is compliance with legal obligations, pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the Privacy Regulation, whereas for the purposes referred to in point (ii), the legal basis for processing is the performance of the services provided through the Site and requested by You, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the Privacy Regulation.

5. Recipients and scope of data disclosure

Your data may be disclosed, within the EU, to the structures, entities, and external companies (including consultants and service providers) used by the Controller for the management of the Site and for activities connected, instrumental, or consequential to the execution of the services offered by the Site. 6. Your rights

Articles 15 et seq. of the Privacy Regulation grant the data subject the right to obtain, in the manner and within the limits established by Article 2-undecies of the Privacy Code and Article 12 of the Privacy Regulation:

  • Confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning them, even if not yet recorded, and communication of such data in an intelligible form;

  • Information on the origin of personal data, the purposes and methods of processing, the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments, and the identification details of the Controller;

  • Updating, correction, completion, deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed unlawfully – including data that do not need to be retained in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed – as well as certification that such operations have been communicated, including as to their content, to those to whom the data were disclosed, except where this proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort relative to the protected right.

The data subject also has the right:

  • To withdraw consent at any time (if given) to the processing of personal data (without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to withdrawal);

  • To object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even if relevant to the purpose of collection;

  • To object, in whole or in part, to the processing of personal data for sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication;

  • To data portability under the limits of Article 20 of the Privacy Regulation.

7. Retention period

Without prejudice to legal obligations, personal data will be retained for a determined period, based on criteria grounded in the nature of the services provided. 8. Security measures

Through the Site, Your data are processed in compliance with applicable law and using appropriate security measures in accordance with current regulations, also pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation. Appropriate measures are adopted to prevent unauthorized access, theft, disclosure, modification, or unlawful destruction of Your data.

9. Amendments to the Privacy Notice

The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Notice. In such case, You will be promptly informed upon Your next visit to the Site.
